First Annual SAN DIEGO CRAFT DISTILLERS FESTIVAL at Liberty Station THIS SATURDAY, November 16th!

Local Distillers Are Keeping Spirits High In America’s Finest City

It’s an incontrovertible truth that, when it comes to beer, San Diego is America’s Capital of Craft. So it’s no mystery that some local folks are taking the art of fermentation to the next level. Literally. This Saturday at Liberty Station, twenty—yes, TWENTY—local distilleries are going to be pouring, mixing, shaking and stirring up some delicious drinkables from 6-10pm. Craft cocktails needn’t be limited to some slim Jim with a handlebar moustache torching a rosemary sprig in exchange for a $20 bill. Rather, craft is where one’s heart is, and local distillers have been putting their heart and soul in to crafting artisanal spirits right here in America’s Finest City for quite some time now. While most folks are familiar with Cutwater (their flavored Fugu vodkas have made for many a memorable evening…whether we can remember them or not!) quite a few other local stills have been steaming away as well for nearly a decade—and garnering more than a fair share of medals to boot!

Not familiar with the local liquor lineup? Take a look at who’s going to be pouring at this event, which includes live music, local eats and a VIP Speakeasy session:
