They’re Bitter—And We LOVE It!

Tyler Tucker has brewed up some lovely beers at a number of places around town, and these days he’s carrying the mash paddle for Bitter Brothers. Speaking of mash, he’s had a rough day at the brewhouse. Stuck mash. Stuck in traffic. He could definitely use a beer. Fortunately, there’s no shortage of that around here. Join us tonight as we share some Bitter Brothers brews with the whole bitter family! We’ve got Tucker, Elder Brother/owner Bill and his better half Monica, beer slinging sales guy Corey, and a special and always delightful guest appearance by Andrea the Truffle Queen. We’ll be talking about the brewery’s upcoming 2nd birthday bash on the 20th and the traditional quarterly Family Dinner the next day on the 21st. Check it out!

  • Family Tart A kettle-soured Berliner Weiss made with “El Corazon” puree, a lovely mixture of blood orange, passion fruit and pomegranate. Berliner Weiss. Paired with Andrea’s Birthday Cake Truffle of course!
  • Little Brother Citra Hop Session Wheat IPA from a can, man!  Light with a dry crisp finish. Orange pithy-peel accents pair beautifully with the Apple Pie Truffle.
  • Uncle Pat’s West Coast IPA A collaboration brew with none other than his grand old self, brewmaster Pat from Alpine. Here it is. A little more…umm…sticky goodness, shall we say, than some of the lighter bodied and crisp wheated IPA’s we love from Bitter Brothers. This is dank and deep. The sticky fun continues as we pair it with Andrea’s Bacon Whiskey Truffle.
  • Little Sister Russian Imperial Stout Anniversary beer. With a nice little rest on cocoa nibs and tart cherries. Roasty malt with deep dark fruit flavors and a warming, bittersweet chocolate finish. Cinnamon Toffee Truffle for dessert.

“Truffles on the left. Truffles on the right. I’ve been into truffles almost all my life…”
