Brewers Put the Pedal to the Kettle to Fight Cancer

November 13, 2019

Drinking great beer on behalf of a great cause is something connoisseurs of San Diego brews are well familiar with. And we love it! That’s why we’re proud to feature Pedaleur Session IPA from Rouleur Brewing Company this month. Cycling machine/Rouleur head brewer Rawley Macias knows a thing or two about brewing delicious beers--and just how fortifying to one’s body and soul a cold can o’ suds can be after a long ride. So it makes perfect sense he’s teamed up with the folks at Padres Pedal the Cause to create a sessionable after-the-ride IPA for this Saturday’s big event. (Read all about it here.)

If you’ve not yet tried this light bodied, dry-finishing quencher, that’s probably because you haven’t been by Rouleur’s tap room lately—which is the only place it’s been available. Until now. All participants in Saturday’s event will receive a post-ride pint of this session IPA brewed with another yet another newcomer to the scene, Strata hops, a variety that is bursting with citrus and tropical fruit notes.
If you can’t make Saturday’s big ride, however, don’t sweat it.  Pedaleur will soon be available on draft and in cans all over San Diego. And what’s more, a portion of the proceeds from Pedaleur’s sales will go to Padres Pedal the Cause in order to raise money for cancer research organizations.

So whether you’re pedaling or not, grab a Pedaleur and do something good for yourself and a great cause. Cheers!
