Amazing.

There is a reason that each week on the Casual Gamers Podcast, Jeremy and I talk about certain Twitch live streamers, like Tyler "Ninja" Blevins and Ben "Doctor Lupo".  Because thousands of people tune in directly to there live streams for hours a day, every day of the week to watch their favorite players dominate in games like Fortnite.  Fostering an amazing community and being really good at a game like Fortnite that has caught the cultural zeitgeist by fire this year has catapulted "Ninja" to full blown Celebrity status.  Ninja headlines Esports tournaments, host meet & greets, cultivate celebrity friends through the power of Instagram and Twitter.  Remember when Ninja partnered up with Drake back in the Spring?  He's never looked back in new levels of popularity since.  So it's no surprise to see him announce he will be gracing the cover of ESPN the Magazine being announced tomorrow morning.  Does this mean ESPN the network is going to get MORE on board with Esports coverage?  We'll see.  In the meantime I'll be quietly lobbying for Doctor Lupo to announce on ESPN "Hit your shots kid!"
