Avid at the compound the problem upon the amount but led the bottom bond down it's evident. Hey we ran. Base. That actually even human on those without was an action this theme song that was in recovering and law yet. I ever knew it I was like yeah. As something only that bones so basically the school hodgepodge thing yet today here is meet him we have Alonso from little fish comics come and then you are. Our favorite. Plus so we'll joined by it's gonna sound terrible but some line of mobile from. Is going to be joining us don't and talked to them but fascinated by is because. I've never been a Comcast. How it's so wrap around I mean I'm cool we'll talk about now handles that of owning guns and but but mile immediately had a lot of things you want to talk about that Brennan. We knew too quick twenty minute and little fifteen Tony whatever into line is CEOs got into this is the opener for the show this week. That that's what led the music. Saw him what's on your mind. You know what let's get used in Adelaide I want to view late feedback. An update this random long story short. As a former radio personality in San Diego Boston rob who used to be Iraq on a 5:3 on the morning show moved back east. Moved back to San Diego hit me up. And we've been talking on FaceBook and stuff and re connecting and he's like hey I loved podcasts I listen all the time Mel's leg. Black X do you listen no it's not like dude. A slight. Reese and like moderately hit us up sidelined journalism when I'm driving. So I want to address two things Sweden. So she's got to rob rob thanks for listening etc. I'm really appreciated what have you on the show cantata bounce I make. I am. Two things how do you listen to the podcast. You know you listen to it on the app you listen on line. What you've what do you do it gets up on Japanese dot com slash games I gave her Twitter. Slash keeps thinking it's either one. Hit us tell us like how do you into the show like how do you view as an on iTunes. Do you you know I wanna know late how do you. Larry let me just at those claims a little bit yes I don't want us. I don't know it's good radio in the amount on the radio talk about this part but we pulled are not we got our numbers all seen who's listening how are you listening are you Brazil. I'm not gonna give you that I'm very. That's that's privileged information. But it was a decent idea we both like yeah we're actually. And mumbled I we say we we appreciate the audience and everyone who listens and that we know that we don't. Get a lot of feedback we used did we get out like seven like really hard court we are. Immediately anyways. Everyone's busy we talk about all I'm shelling sometimes we don't catch the shows will be covered in my dad is too much going on. Everyone's busy going caches at different times for example one of our diehard Stewart told me this week he'll be on vacation this weekend. Gays that was then why so all assumed he might not hear this until next week so it's one of those incidentally are no plans to listen to it. When he dissident lines jam he has Stuart is a gem of a man. I just one of the now it and there's another thing that we always talk about it radio like when we do. Contest thing and stuff they say that if you have a 1% of our radio audience actually. Interacts with the radius is out of calls them or whatever way I actually say 10% of social media. Or so it's easier it's always at Jackson yeah yeah so if you take for example if a 100000 people listen to the radio station in 1%. In Iraq to review that's a thousand people all right that's a lot of people. Per honestly we interact with like five to ten people on a consistent basis. So the 1% kind of applied for us it was kind of a fun thing we are like. Plus those other like thousand people. But you know it's it's nice it's nice and we do we want more. Feed that we wanna yeah yeah it an easier way you guys can be listening to this may be. You like anyway because like for me I like sound cloud that's my favorite one and gas it you set all let me get pushed out there and we're paternal leader don't unfortunately we are on iTunes but. Anyways my point was I will play. I found out that. Salute for podcast I like to subscribe to our podcasts. There's four of us and I felt like not how I won an obvious one left some clouds. So I looked and other airs this like all of their all on iTunes once the N podcast and I'm on that one so. Just you know there's there's a lot of waste catches and we can make it flow easier with you. Rubin and that's finishing he took his eye opening announcement that wasn't just that I IE. Just download. I subscribe to on my phone I don't do that I don't listen to podcast summit on Kyle is on the phone I just do it and a computer Matt and the computer at all when that's that's my office what time. You know I'm dual monitors and I've got I'm set up in the air flights that's absolutely commands senator I sit down and work done. It's the equivalent of the main key for me like I you know so I listen to podcasts there yeah my headphones on for privacy if I want to take my client thumbs up Apple's. To my headphones. I am yes so again one of the more morphine and he has an apologist TV is normal human yet so sometimes maybe we're not. Directing the conversation during the week can. And it's because we are like sometimes we're bull run downs and times were busy sometimes that those going on. So if you guys are wanna talk about things you have I zeal for the show. Comet you know and mean and and that helps it helps it helps us bottles that will think about something you know also if we ever inspire you think about Sunday and we want inspires the chamber inspiration so on that note I wanted to view. I did get some feedback from guys this week I asked to questioned for Valentine's Day. What's your favorite couple but I gave it quotes. In deep slash pop culture cyclops and Jean doctor and rose Lois and Clark. And it's an interesting feedback we got Tom Harley Quinn and poison ivy and here's one that's been. Yes she did we keep pace she is she was intimating that I mean. I did and that was chimed in with gambit in a row ice love game didn't ground. Jen chimed in with the tenth doctor in rows which was what I give the example laden or the couple that never was Captain America an agent Carter alleged Allen. In ever way they match alliances. And we that was it they never had that chance that the line for the that's the first thing that ever got down when she was old news young. Can't noted that she added she had. Alzheimer's or they napping do yeah. Okay it's time. Our body the mind queen chimed in we're dead pool and Spiderman gets a lot lot of below that met yet and fun relationship. Amy chimed in with him and lay her husband Justin chimed in with hand and lay out. I was struck under the league and lay and now I just made me laugh okay is he said Amy said Himalayan and he said Hanley at and he said. Amy I took forever to say I love you because both of us knew the other was waiting justice saying. I'd now and now I know and how. I love them all but they both have Ben. Frightful ego like garlic you can meet once I can let the fly I'm late in his letter resilient candidate that's awesome. Some talks on tag replied with Amy and Rory I'd like that problem. You had nightly in every bid originally did see yeah has that night leading brand with. And I'm all about that we'll do it. He's been win back girl he's been wit. And what not it's because I am president Steven they can't they and they are gonna get a list out. Of girls I. Wanna put you on the spot at the moment I started this and I was like a put you on the spot and I kind of feel somehow though I'm not. I don't that's I am gone out of its like this thing you look at a game. Greg chimed in with Jessica and jet farm and just pure and I'm just recital with gross and I agree. Greg's friend Mike chimed in with China with Lois and Clark Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher version. Paying you read I got one or guy and Jenna Ellis chimed in with Buffy and spike. Okay list of people night Ling has been romantically. Ache or Dick Grayson. Has thinner in that romantically sweat. Lori Elton I don't I that is democratic star fired Dick Grayson the longest lasting romantic relationship from teen titans yes I'm Bridget Clancy. And has cracked hunch red. Had a caddie one night stand with huntress yeah do you had a multiple one night stands. Or long term relationship depending on who you're reading with Barbara Gordon how do you call at a multiple one night stands I think people wrote maybe they would just have them. Bang I don't know I understand what they're alluding to because I read a lot of the comics again I thought I would think along at least they would have like. Dick would be in a relationship with Lori petty whoever was up there and then like. A Christmas issue may baby just depend when Barbara one and that he's ED almost. Presidential. So RA. And that's going that's good that's realist I mean just what's her name from teen titans have two teens IE nine. Raven now I haven't. Or our fires our fire was this to die in right there bomb bikini model of the DC universe. And she literally is that DC's sex symbol decides they don't ever sexually enrollment that not that not that bad. Relatively speaking are fliers from a culture that she's very pretty and she's like whenever so they how girls pretty I mean with the ridiculous yeah. And it's my right like that. I think you're right that's just so we can look at it later that help you fighting any I made it like it's such a fan boy from power girl. I'd love power and doesn't own thorough idea that he had and the idea like a lot of like osu is not just days after Dick Grayson is Jason that right now I'm sure power roe wade smashed degrees in and I are being the ultimate dvd on my daddy's that he did the president tweeted that. Yang because we. Unlock my guy. Now I have abandoned mine you'd ipodder odds. Calm down also funny he tweaks the moment we start saints and then got it never lets the context play out. Ice and on and on FaceBook like. Like in August moon he had said something that I was like we are beyond the pale yet we've crossed the rubicon. And ever since then I've said to myself every time like and I believe. Yeah I can and because they are just as we crossed we can't get. Earlier so the bully factor. Is she lectured there's nothing left it like you can't let Pandit monkey back in the box you can't. I in or the open so I always I was goatee quote yourself you said. We're past the rubicon and we're past the subject. Yet here and I woody from that the fun little thing oh shoot I wanna talk about Arab is that something came up as well. A mop up god the new DC animated movie came out I haven't seen it as in yet. But they've been coming also dropped trailer the trailer looks like Virginia's child just I'm just contract and I actually said it's time on that and visit us on Twitter is on a FaceBook as it never fails. That the latest enemy movie drops I've already passed because I was so hyped for the last trailer. The movie finally comes out six months later in the trailer for the next on drops and I'm like okay where wins the next one getting there. And I'm like I wanna watch this what is it what's the current alleged Al justly dart in really wanna I NN I realized I Constantin. Iconia. I get the endowment. Amid age and don't go actually usually gets those. It'll take a month their tail. Maybe Mullen month now and he had that look Google they'll ever they have like a lot of the last eight the only Netflix beginning on it it depends on who gets the contracts and went on Hogan won my streaming services gets them sent well I just. And I think we must enemy of movies there immediately available. Lets you just download it but. I'm by copying and I can watch bill sponsored I've been wanting to see that. Matt Ryan to the voice for caught my team monitored. Kind of seems kind of the star of them we will Leo that ends on the cover as literally there you guys itself. Salad yet he's literally like insists that's got yes. That is literally there I run asserted biscuits made because enemy in movies as what these he does well I have. Way higher standards for this that we're Axl is an earlier absolutely can there enemy it is always at the heart. Not the only as well the only thing to be heard great things about it and I'm huge fan of edge again eating late the fact that. That fact they brought edge again Tibet and the animated series of one point was right. I deep doubts are you the demon because. When I was brought up my buddy Danny was a huge fan a way a to island EU is yet it went just that league ball. Here's an with the demon guy on. He was an animated series yet he was in the as the beans and a leader staff when it became more. Then when the animation became more stylistic we have he had. We intend had become Robin so he'd gone through a can sell Dick was now night wing officially on the show it it was the morally or some time in. And there was. And end super mini and mini series was already up and running action and Ali has been for a bit. But I mean coming in we're at a point where Justice League is about I'm sure on the I've seen and I had Agassi will be purely just as easily till now has really got a yes this is the one where Batman and our. Bruising Tim. Go to an auction. And it's there's an item being auctioned off them and the guy who is at your again GC in wind blow DC in something. Jason blotter something he. Innings of losing to another kid wizard are like oh what a wizard looks like a kid and has this cat familiar. And basically uses that item to separate the demon catcher Dan from Jason blood. As a bad man and at and they deem and have to fight each other. As. Jason blooded ravages of it's just it is so fun because at to get the care to their rhymes. Yeah Don Gonyea form of mad rise again the demon that your dad itself so at this should nerd that stuff and my buddy Danny in the early nineties. Collected those comics from DC he was reading. Deem so late I was I was urged exposed to it. Late when I was coming up it wasn't like my thing but it isn't cool that. I got exposed when I got to read it's agreeing jade in comics or anything like that like my buddy Justin had Jamie comics but I got him in a marvel so he's always like. You're the one that got me in the comics in the. You talked about you got me and did. Eastern topics like I you don't emailing I was animation because you anyways yeah. Died immediately distracted I was just. Emailing our friends come in and battle front does it finally closed his mine number. Sitting by an elevator don't go out for guys I know can we talk but now just throughout that I I really wanna see them excellent and I went hitless what did you actually reveal that. They got that trailer looks though did you catch him Italy's next million little clip of it yeah yeah so the next DC enemy enemy looks amazing at all. Teen titans you just contract. To spoil our own. As well according to render that well that this is the first president struck is that we're trying to get out lies are trying to get more than that plus Tara she's introduces well yes that's sort of a mean you know eighteen times you know terror you know investor you know snort you know Judas country so. It's gonna be awesome to be an awesome story yet. It's eight basic tenets is a good start would they even color design. Teen not teen titans gal what was its intention knows just team to and they covered anti tank yes they come out that story as well I love it they had Ron Perlman doing his voice. I slope perfect back and then. Will be interesting is that. This will the lap the first those other eighteen times they had. Made it is called teen titans right well there's just as neighbors its guidance dangerously eighteen tie ins that was Kim and two young justice was not. Injustices that are attached. So this and Ronald. Well they used that same voice for Batman now they do they what they say is. In DC always says all the lawyers have a multi verse and all exist yet so you know and and and is. I'm hoping that I was would also allow the same voice actors in the well as within the drunk style super similar it's the voice casting director it's Andrea Vermont oh yeah and she she's the best she's the value of Jesus I would. If anything in this like Kazaa I would love you voice acting stuff but I don't know I don't have the time to put a different era but work into it like remind you there at some I have. Someone who's insignia and we'll talk about island but I would think you but I wouldn't want to meet her and talk to her 'cause I love hearing her I was Catherine Hanna a panel that was done. It was her Alan Burnett. Paul Dini. Bruce to it was the crypto and I all of them and that was so collect comic con four years ago maybe where this year that Conan showed up now. Okay that was another year to this was the it was the it was Batman turns. Batman the animated series turns 21 I was there that that was the time I've seen her I've seen her at panels account content she's all there Wragge yeah area and there are Rolex. His interest seeing it I. I'm such a nerve like when I watch. In need these animated series and stuff and I see testing drinking or casting by Andrea remodel is aren't gonna. The nominee is IG did scare their ass yeah does she does the other thing blew me away this week was the latest trailer for iron fast. Come to bat and that looks legitimate let's and and the biggest thing for me again. Like when things are dine that he you as a fan calling wing. He's getting her debut an iron fist season so misty got her debut in Luke cage and is actually kind of bidding. Because miss the Intel this is Lou it is hitting it around drop off. They teased and yet it is yes it Reno yeah. They steal the Ayatollah prior month and that's that's a hole at the big topic of yours start this course is so yeah and me and I thought they are gonna do yeah. I think that was their Easter egg wink wink hey yeah is there are. But like than they had another little clip that came out this week of Colleen. Just in the cage fight purses you guys and a loading and I'm light. I Cain is march 17 late. Kissing the Blarney stone I wanna watch and wrist band like let's go how I'm so stoked that you know. It's called in I was talking with a friend who are saying. The CW Burris for better or worse whatever apps are you liking and they're all not welcome all gold and they can be great. But it's just like they did a good job and you just love to step into that university Canada and we really have the same intrigue going on with these Netflix series. And especially when they they know what they're doing at this point especially with the marketing like. And it you don't early trailers only giveaway like first four episodes stuff so some of the suffer seeing a light. Do what else are we gonna see you illustrate I saw in 2017 unless they just adjust their calendar which they can do we are getting. Client this defenders and monitor the health coming out this year and that was the key line in the trailer says that the final defender arrives smells like. That means of Canada next but yes the date. A rep saying is like there's no Blake. There's no retelling this oral historian link well this Connick and axes I think no at this point. You're Ian yeah route so this can't get shows can get Netflix and we W to come watch a bit of light. A lot of other stuff that goes into it in did you actually wanna be humble or to go watch yeah that's I love this is and it is serialized. Storytelling. And stop playing to the lowest. Common denominator in reset the score every week and so that GA national eating out assuming oh well what about who had don't know yet. Yes that's what I know they're built to be watch where it the re series than four series then you ask just cup. But in their built that you. You binge watch these you sit down and watch them and blocks a light. You know you'd you don't just slight. Watch an episode way to week watch an episode you'll lead your life yeah car accident that changed schools public got to not watch this show and we're now. You watched show. And relax your life but literally you're gonna watch the show. And they live your life. That that's that is the same discussion with a friend saying. Yet this is looks just like Batman and aroused in my opinion too was like so what. You don't want that man. To join this universe are right you call my affairs that's that man you know he's he's the billionaire who goes missing. Comes back with Kong flu abilities take this company back. So what I want it yeah. Yeah I mean gas engines that are just now that was okay how's a guy. No no we're in interest and so. Rock those close above this then yeah yeah could because those guys you'd be hearing at moon I'm so I have nothing else really going I've really been prepared as we are doing talk of the guys didn't. It's the stuff on to throw there's so. Was gone and it's on some things on top and out. Now now we're gonna get this out. It is coming out of what we did he jump to. All my gut but I tell you what I've reds and the reviews are gonna make a living it looks fantastic. And it's amazing I you know I saw you posting it in this morning's up like gifts about it yeah. And part of it was like I was political just flat out get a fair and but I side John Ray and Barrios like we have tickets to go see this. Look at Zach. Base their questions as I so you oppose and I'll efforts I was thinking like. Well this all of our legacy without me I got text me. And but then I'd like well why it is like Presley getting mad like. It just you and your baby in the house are now there's no scenario where you can go see John wit before work a businesslike. I want to see well we were gonna go see it this morning and and it it was a really shooting weak and. It was a senate one of the things like adding. Just enjoy seeing it it's like whenever it could yet and I media LC on Sunday I don't know I probably we'll see until next week at that point is gonna wait. I can't wait to see at Al honestly I'm trying to see this weekend in the analysts now and all in all in this part of the show on this this is what I was doing this running as a clap back. So our new secretary of education messy Davos. It very controversial leave it at baton her first tweet as the secretary of education. And she's never met a teacher by the way Jerry controversial. And her first tweet was in her new office and she said. Can someone and I maybe and I until about looking for a pencil no crime and people like teachers lost their goddamn mind they were right. Teachers have to buy their own school supplies yeah it's gonna be worse is with using it like he edited it and that and also remember the line in John awake. He killed a guy with a padlock (%expletive) pens ball so well. Come back and Betsy Dallas and I tweeted I FaceBook at her he'd. With John weight thing I said hey John wake knows where you can find that pencil. I'll be able. Grads that we got Alonso from little fish in someone from comic fest yeah it'll be very interesting thanks soliciting yes.

Did you get recognized and everything I guess I haven't seen anything look at data that they've exhibited clean and that was the high earning right. And is not on Mike in coming in just fine. I just hey Isaac Hayes area. This is a case on case. Brats with in as well as high as I rarely some special guest welcoming back. No I got out of blogs are from little physical book studio glad to be back and you have brought a very special guest with you this week I have. Hole because it historians. How about if I'm correct on the world's youngest comic book historian and you are correct thirteen years old live I don't know. Different through puberty yet you you can't that's what I hear he's there is no race unknown I don't know. Course not I mean it's just it's just as he won a anyway hi I'm not done bird I'm the I've been called the world's youngest comic book historian knives and a comic book editor. And writer occasionally and currently serve as president of little fish comic book studio with a long soak. And as of recently I have gained a new title I'm the chairman of San Diego comic fast now he's that that's really hot. Brad as his original compound ranked. Well it started by the guys who created the original comic con and so it's something to create the feel of the original comic on a small intimate environment and is about comic books and it's about comic books. Something ability is still fun. Comic con is not exactly about that anymore and no the pop culture has been damaged yet already it is it's fun for what it is about it is what do we need more comic books yeah well you ought. Think it's all its comic con is solely it just has grown to encompass more things I mean if you look for comic shall find comics fix it's there you know as it grows for gaming and you know. And snow toy is and bill Allman science fiction it's everything is there there's something for everyone at comic con but it's like. Never say it's not about the comics because you can always find the comics. There distraction you can go to can't go for a buck but you'd go to a bookstore for what you look for him yeah among them. It's. All right thank you for. It's great yeah I thought. Saddled that's a little uncertain this year who have again we went when they whereas the. Well San Diego comic fest is going to be happening from February 17 is the twentieth. That is presidents' day weekend so that's eight Friday. Saturday Sunday and get this Monday in half four day comic con yeah not just like the big one except it's a small one. Still that's on the country we know we have parting ways from the town and country we have thank them for their time but we are at a guy as a convention has grown we have grown to bigger better venues so we will be if a four point shirts and off of aero drive through local. By Mexico anyone who's gone multiple years magnet that me I was at a town and country and I'm glad you came and I'll dollar and things it's an awesome space wouldn't callables I'm trying to picture I worked there avoid an alert it our offices are moving over there airs on Channel 8 public. It hurts OK yeah you do victory today. It's you can talk faster than you get there and like how. Mental thing like apparently laid down the street charges templates yup yes that's right there what is what is currently known that the charged counts yeah that over. Don't think well how complex. Publishing it to say anything but OK whoever gets beat me to do so anyway we're really anticipating San Diego comic fest which is the small intimate environment. That. Really works to recreate the feel of what comic cons were like back in the 1970s. Because. Yes I love San Diego comic on an old form but for all of the con goers and not really reversed and conventions. He can be a little bit overwhelming because like all I couldn't do disagree and do Vatican to this but. And and because the sheer size and it. Lot of people don't exactly know what to do because there's always gonna be way too many good things to do which is a pretty good problem happening and sometimes you just need a break from the big hustle and bustle things and so that's for San Diego comic fest comes into play. It started by Mike tower Reid and the late Richard Alf who actually for the founders of the original comic con back in the day. Back in 1969 what was known as California's Golden State comic convention. And the you know there are just part of the magic kids hang out ring comic books and their mom's basement. And this little club of nerds it's a least a fifteen year old kids all of sudden thought like would be great if we were put together up. You know like an event of our own we can meet all their comic fans is like yeah I'd be great happy awesome sort of like a convention for like comic people. And so they go to the local magazine retailer and Richard Alf and it proposed or idea to have. And I said you know would that be great idea you wanna help us out and he's a sure we're going to be guest so when I know guy. Who knows a guy who knows guy who knows guy who knows Jack Kirby. And I asked him to be our guest of honor for that dimension and so. They go to the woodwork they asked Jack. Jack actually he says of course it like he'd like to meet these group of kids and so he invited them up to his place in Thousand Oaks. They'll pile into this minivan and we're known as the station wagon back in the day and station wagon yet because it's appropriate to 1969. We're going to leave us. I don't give us. Whatever is appropriate for nineteen of them and they go to meet Jack and Jack humbly accept their offer to be the guest of the first San Diego comic convention. And Jack was so impressed by these kids but he actually drew them as villains. And the fourth World Series that he was doing all the time. Around known as the San Diego five string mob to know that story and no I don't answer it's mostly what that was it forever people is it. Yes forever people there there aren't they look like kids and like there Fiji some apocalypse. And it's Alan complementary fit yeah and their life. A little mom and one of the guys they're Alfonso who's in that group also and then Jack Houston as the model for clarion which for decades. Which we just talked about yeah we're finished Atlanta we have and it's like eleven he was like eleven years old that the army is the youngest in the group until he became clearer on the whole docket and quick side. I'd art for you guys we were just talking about this week Justice League dark came out my not a chance to see it but I you know I. Obama. Another. I'm not a fan boy for Patrick and like I don't know all the details of that again but I thought I love match again and I loved. When the introduced him it Leahy in Batman animated series and I sit in the is the key is the rich kid and I. Clarion was aware though it clearly. We'll have a thick it was as though which can't yeah yeah when they. This isn't clear when I go. I responses I'm not great thing think we're supposed to talk about what. And apparently everything the demon answered yeah we got here it was. And at that first comic convention in 1969 us it was called California's Golden State comic convention because San Diego wasn't a rattling known city at the time. So they use the allure of California to bring people and and what happened at a first comic convention that they held. Drank about 253 in our people you know modest number for. And then the second year in truck to about 500 people and Kirby. You know sent everyone's like look how big it is look at how great their sixth. This is wonderful look it's already doubled in size just you wait this is going to be the biggest thing in the world some day just you'll see. And it'll be the place work Hollywood comes to show off the movies they made last year and find the movies they're gonna make next year and everyone just looked at Jack and I. You could feel man well. Earlier Rihanna okay and. But of course he was the Nostradamus of comics and he was right. Now it's like you've got 500 people ahead of you at the ATM at comic art. Are in Africa you know I'm. What I loved about what you guys are dealing with comic fascinating. I think. This relates as we talked last heavier here. A different mind Chad cabin has brought when he comics and last minute replacement in night. Comic con this year got to be ours Ronald. Guy Alley artist Allen thank you and the channel ten on your witnessed around a couple of musicians these stories on this. He used to be a singer songwriters and he had connections. And he's been able to use that on its comic side and it was so great comedic gold I would I got there I was like I had to an artist Ali I got to go my chat. I want this I want to hug and shake his hand I think rats and just being here. And I am so proud man and that is that thing like you said if you're into comics you're going to find night. Your convention sounds more like. If you don't you're going to experience that not if you look for them you spirits artist's Alley because that's what this is now. Exactly you know all the thalidomide for everything's gone their you can go in there are ten bucks and leave with this staggered comics. This you can didn't quarterback yeah you can find that you get elected you outline like for a four part thing. It's gonna take a lot perhaps to get my three over there could be fighting off some guys that I got you to disable it you don't need the did. For you guys before we'd some part not comment on the among the press did you guys know who the first and who you know this story and a judge know who the first. Person that ever buy ticket to come accomplice. Khamese I'd do. If it's Jeff Goldblum under that went on I felt. Let's say it's like and I got there I got the first ticket. I. Going to come and I'm on I'm on how I'm I'm going I don't I'm on my. It was George. Aren't on the East Coast friends and all these guys you know they're like really like it and marketable when I have read through Michael because I'm a big collector of hardcover collected editions. Like if you look at the marvel bullpen stuff like the fan letters ever yeah are marching in Berlin for like every issue for single issue that is there from a sharp. Kurt didn't know if it is yeah. Right it'll not that it matters that badly and I are marked a break quickly. The. Yeah. And exhibit at the but don't guy down earnest so intense it could kill the white walkers as well call this it is. Anyway so. Without being said they created this comic con that flourished and grew and was amazing. Now when I think back to my first comic con which was 1994. I was an eight year old boy. I was just sitting there on Saturday morning watching fox six kids. X-Men was on homes and I see a commercial come to the scene Diego comic con is the greatest thing in the entire world you have to see this comics to stuff the trading cards and everything like. Dad can we goals that we don't condone that we got so. He ticks me and my two Brothers we just you know piling them into our station like him because station my into the thing you happen to kids and and we drive from our house and Mission Hills we drive downtown to just attendants get there we drive that. Over in the park in the parking lot part in this. Or in your mind it before it Richard can write Andre off of homeless areas that you good part of my domain and yes they. It out of parking lot by the marina and we just went there. We parked. We bought our passes the day out of and we'd just get on went inside and dislike in a walked around. We bought some you know action figures some Paul site popped over the marvel Booth and I saw this and I got like a trading card sheet for this. This upcoming senate flee your Spiderman cards and I was like the coolest thing in the world like some guys some old guy signed at forming in my house is great. And bend don't we just walk around have a good time for a couple hours and and at the end of the day as we were leaving some guys like you you guys doctor bad just me unabom office but gesture yeah. None of that is possible and I aren't on June decide to go the day up to park there. Dubai air passes. To did your passes away having enough not actually know that old guy who signed my training part she was generally a senior. Song. Trading cards so like four years ago and I Selig John remit it's I mean it. I had my first one always at town and country. Basically like you guys are doing now wind rain and got us on a country and don't but I want to say it was 9192. Because it hadn't yet. And the next admin. Was so you know there's like ninety's as I when it could did you only X-Men was being yeah being. Was ripped through media who did Nixon. But did his own version of that threat or is Burton Burton driver and a leg to arts like I was like only got really big picture. I very much. For whatever reason poster and a comic lies. You know the Juli actually number wine and next man is being burned in my brain from that from comic con convention experience that reverend mom. Just hate me Booth after Booth and I just got like thirteen or fourteen sauce I knew what I was doing a new world going by it was really cool yeah. Yeah it's a did not like those first comics that first convention you go to you know to be president. Yeah you're you're accessible that's amazing yeah. Yes now if I would have known then what I know now but of course I was really is bursting into comics as it was back then I was just a Spider-Man X-Men adding. And the only names I really knew that ironically the airline guy you know by the animated series you watched yet you went by the enemy or 45 is ancient what that's right yeah. Always say lately new cartoon comes out of the Spiderman is something that sealed the and I you know what that's not warming that kind of anyway. That's my hope is always like this is why I'm always excited to see that stuff because I never know who tempering definitely action now and that's what I'm. Right now it's really for kids but like well that's good they need to gateway and then go from there exactly now you just want to get it. Sensible thing about what brings you into things like what I think about my first comic experience lol that is pretty you know I I started reading like you know just. Picture books like like a little critter Dr. Seuss type stuff and one when I was a kid back to me like a late eighties early ninety's but remember that point right couldn't read. And my favorite poised at the time were legal pirates legal pirates my jam back in the day so there was a little pirates set. That. Had a comic book in included cult like captain red beard to end the Goldman Dow and and our members a cycle looking at this thing this is the coolest thing in the entire world but I wish buying new with these people were sunk so I literally. Learn to read selected it. You're about captain ray beards adventures and is so I mean that was must have been like 1991 at the time and so I learned to read just because of this code. And I love this I read distinct tilt it fell apart. And then my dad was like well you actually respond pretty well to that and then he said like it was itchy now that your reading list just approved for Hillary. Syndicated Toys 'R' Us and that's back in the day when they had like a book section over in the side so he brings me there. And he asks me to OK let's see if we can find something as well walk into the hallways of course the year was 19920. And I see it come out of the Cora my hi this hologram. This beautiful shining hologram and I thought it was the most beautiful thing and I immediately walk over to it and there was a character and never seen before on it. Famous Spiderman and he was swinging through on this whole foil cover and I see and I could read the words for the first time. Spider-Man. Thirtieth anniversary thirty issue assists and so on our third nineteen and 1982 being the thirtieth anniversary of Spiderman. I just think I begged my dad can I have this gonna have this to have this. And I got that Spiderman. Thirty issue set and then I started reading that until Philip Carlo or Spiderman was the guy that got me into politics. And then soon enough I discovered like they would come up with Manny animated series X-Men cartoon. And then my eighth. And I sorted you know just buying the trading cards and things on the action figures but. My Spiderman fend them went into over drive. On the morning of November 19 1994. When he Spiderman cartoon dispute which is. Done by John supper was going to be our special guest at San Diego con Edison yes yes and of course. As that's a distinct honor of I've been declared by him the world's biggest Spiderman animated series fanatic on earth. And I will series out of thoughts landed out there plus again and I am going to be hosting covered everything I'm announcing the pet spotlight panel would John Samper. Monday February 20 10 AM which on temper we will talk about his career about him working with. You'll becoming the first black children are when he stood when he took over the reins of Frankel rock oh. Our job and of course when his crew working. George Lucas and and later Stanley and of course. Also Ohio Miyazaki. Of all things he actually did the translated versions of like keep his delivery service and several Miyazaki films in the mid nineties that's not he's got a pretty illustrious animation crew but of course the peaks stuff for me. My all time favorite cartoon Spiderman the animated series in. In particular a liberal I know for mean necessarily that I know a lot of people. Especially people your age this is an amazing everyone always tells me. That X and it has vitamin C is in the ninety's yeah that outlines everything and has brought some private tape. The it was the Big Three gets a run that daredevil was an in with him in doing that or to others and against him. That's that got him out is how he's just didn't know yeah. Until late teens and jurists not be enough in my convert dollars a night eating dinner. That's I let this hour. Like I'm go out of my totally different but I doctor ought to put Florida orange are. It was the middle school public school especially bad about you like this isn't it. Thought that if they got the democratic side of that age gap has got to hear it here and say I grew what Batman. And it's serious woods Spiderman with excellent with those are ultimately that's original source so it was right because that was the first time and everything goes and that. Because I believe that to was are you reading material yeah I. I would say it's not an age thing but it is it's how you experience it is that as the there because anybody who's now. If they were to experience that range now you listen to wonder like why he's your framework and why. That's the only reason I get annoyed at those TV shows that might this is not a super. Does become part time ten. I know there are certain shows age what better than others true but you know. At contest we are going to be celebrating you know a lot of those because. Among our special guest that we have and things were celebrating we are celebrating the 25 anniversary of the X-Men cartel us. And rarely do well and like they're going to be coming in with a the writers the producers of the show are going to be coming in as our special guests. And they're going to be doing several. Panels talking about their experience the extent cartoon. They're gonna be doing a decent day in future past screening and commentary they're also going to be doing a special screening of night crawler my favorite episode. And it sucks because I think I have a panel at that very same time the and Ingraham. Some tape of frontal nudity with. Out of each the other VHS is among other things we also have comic historian Arlen Schumer who presents a very spectacular visual lecture on several things. And one of the four lecture series he's preparing for the event. Is he twenties and number 25 anniversary of Batman the animated series. You know he is you know he was so impressed by when he first came out he. Pretty much like had to like have an article come out pubic forcefully to life magazine. To talk about how beautiful this looking this cartoon what is. And if you're like me. Batman animated series still holds up as the greatest incarnation of Batman as yet so some kind of click. On our way and I don't like is how little comic book fans. Will really agree on that because it's one of the few things that comic books in the comic book fans agree on because I've we will quibble gasoline about a camera saying but it's like when we say greatest incarnation of Batman ever if you say that many enemy through universally agreed on the officially got growth in the ninety's and that yes or the bat arbor they're like. Yeah I got to batting unitarian. You know did you give the website you were completely or for me think about all this right now. If you are hearing about this right now you can check out our website at WW dot ST comic fest dot org that's as deep comic fest dot org. Or you can just check us out on FaceBook at San Diego comic fast. Are you to check us out on NC Graham met ST comic test. And Twitter ST comic dressed and just got tickets out at the convention next week so it's going to be a very fun time. Army cocktails occur because sales are going to happen and they've all been approved. We talked about last time yeah I felt I and I created. For comic fast those are they've been approved ingredient list is endless so that are gonna pregame for this thing I know we really deal goes through the back and then. All the nothing I. You know realistically you're here on your Olga you have to go you have a lead in the numbers that we'll just as friends and time and I'm just kind of feel you unavailable you're on our leverage thanks Rene and she's got friends tanning and there her in the friends here. Running at halftime the zoo is in an hour between Jesus and so now I'm. More. Comic that's for me yes or enhanced. And of course the reason we are holding those sacirbey cocktails is because the main focus of San Diego comic fest is a big big celebration. It is Jack Kirby is 100 birthday so we are going to be spending the entire weekend during the Kirby Centennial hall. We have a lot of wonderful Jack Kirby guests. People who worked with them are going to be coming by. We have comic book historian mark seven year and Steve Sherman who both worked as assistants to Jack Kirby during you know. And they basically got their starts working with them so they able be doing a lecture series. And Kirby we also have. Mike Warner. Who was Jack's anchor. During the 1970s who inked an excellent prolific projects like the fourth the world old entered in the demon. Doubled dinosaur pretty much like dinosaurs changing him again and oh yeah. He's the guy who had been seeing task of like what was he doing to pages a day if Kirby inking its review calculus two pages and I was and I think so yeah. I don't know I'd like industries and we kind of blew my mind and believe it and erratic fake news. You're thinking is he okay they don't make no respect is I don't. Know that my computer to pick news that's not true but the demon didn't wry human. For the first like fourteen years of its systems I wouldn't doubt that that's like he wasn't perfect it was like a poor thing it depends on the Ryder yeah I'm Alan Moore's first do. Yet when he didn't. Who wants to do it yet but they're gone I'm. Gone again in the form a man right the demon hedging and always you know he's. They're earth would you say. As Kirby. And comic who's right and Kyrgyzstan we use these super me in the animated series Scott Kirby right. The big covers fort. Rule because they covered ports world a lot like I can tell you all as a comic reader going to let fourth world stuff. It's still a little. It's kind of hard for me at times because it is a lot of dense material. Because the one thing rebels say about Jack Kirby are literally it's a gentleman that is definitive series yet the thing is I think Jack Kirby is the greatest character designer in the world and the greatest no world builder in terms of stories in terms of creating content and menu never slowed down. But like you know he. Government is there were stories I didn't really like himself like that's 'cause it's just like. Fourth world for me it's a very dense book I mean like Kirby stories that are really like I'd like really just goes like all the not action. Like my for my favorite cursory work is double dinosaur. Double dinosaur just like all Mac the stores were he just like he goes all in attitude and of course they may not you know they may have been canceled before it. It's just a longer hope this works I mean the take a little. The heat a little more time for me to get into and so it's like I'm just having to go through only go from wears like. Looks like I said like all Mac and double dinosaur I will hair through those because they are so good. And but you know there's the denser form material that's there. But you know Kirby had a whole lot of stuff and a wide range and of course there's going to be stuff you like and stuff you don't like when someone who does have such a prolific career. And it's just you know you really don't that's just how it's you know consecutive to have a preferences about. I was I was amazed I ever read the fourth troll stuff I never read it like beginning to end. Until like five years ago when they came out those mean things. On the buses and I'd come option experience about I was really struck by how. You know a lot of Jack's dialogue is. Saying may have heard you know like you right to very specific way with the dialogue I don't mind you know. And but he stories we're like this tricky. Combination of like Korea Morrison fever dream. And like the old testament was crazy like like there's I mean the first word in net new God's number one is apple. That's all he didn't like a block like here's the end of like the old story right field God's done a rice the new guy goes. It was insane and I and I and I try to do that they were like you'd try to imagine like your kids reading it for the first I'd like OK I don't know if it's just. And what I did that I was like this is blowing me away like they when he does the origin story with how spoiler alert everyone for a fifty year old book. Yeah. When you're in. Did you get your chance sister went down your fake news job. You know first learned. The Georgia Dome on the dark side. Or ride ended my whole life I guess it IDC. You see really in the area fairly good. I think he held by DC does either Obama don't let your day. That premise though Grant Morrison meets the old testament to our Avery has got his key affiliates that you know high father you guys know high fathers on the peaceful leader patriarch of new Jackson called his dad. Yeah yeah yeah. At every level that what he's younger. There's been this battle and this war and like new Genesis is decimated. And his what's his actual name just in his desire. Yeah he's like a version of Isaiah and he's walking through. This like desolate landscape you know life and like overseen choice he liked the castle we've seen like. A meadow we see like some how he's walking through and he's just saying who it is he's not like he's just like questioning everything. But like always staying fleck of paint and I was like. Should just to eat this is crazy like if I was twelve greeting that for the first automobile like I go to church anymore I feel like or dislike. I've I got it you know like I I don't even I don't need a priest reading it I just absorbed you know it's I love before this I had to make it. I can't. After that I have elevated and that's why you love the blood I almost I would go to backstop for us tonight a breather next time unless and zoo that I had on my back yeah of them there a couple of iron then got an idea if Bergen. Maples are up why or why in the suburban voters know in their futures. We hear you a Budweiser. Well you. Yeah. Yeah. American it doesn't care spending big bear fake beards make BofA the did you guys do that Super Bowl commercial disgraceful did. Yeah we can't bring greater well immigrants a fiddler Alison help America I despite coming from blood vice Germany. Not not that I'm sure you however an app from path wrestler commercials like. German us out of that rough and here do you citizen dark haired mother and we bulls I'm not sure they did good there's some other people hey nobody knows that it could be an evil man. That's says that these aren't the media to this. I with them and it's a reference to Obama is good for Simpson's reference KI SE a eleven and now OK you've got bottled up in the best episode if Ian JB I've ever seen. But it seems iffy. As the GM so the pushy episode of Jean who looks like you have something to say. I do know a little bit and he definitely get me. And input she died on his way back to his home planet. Are you still doing the if you give blood and lassie come for a tree. Yes. That there was the steering committee a panel and redundant. I may have been a mistake last comic and coming lawyer in the fatal because you're still here near fatal let me correct that we didn't. He's going to goods like you guys keep going. So I went there I was let's be honest nice to weekends and money for some oddly enough to be honest to you I get there right when it opens minor tennis boom and I'm like. I forgot a bash that and RD bottom line. And I was like thought our laws give blood I try to give every couple or couple times. Every NN news story is going because everyone has given blunted it tells me this story. While on president you can they don't do it any kind of needle fall out excited I know I give life. It and it taking so long love you had to meet I don't get the gauntlet twenty minutes. And then I have to be on the air. Go from is that right there front to the studio be on hand I'd go there on him it's higher because I just drain the blood out of my body. My only reaction. Is my is is that all of his drink a bunch of copies that we can back up dial up it thins your blood is the word all you could do. Bring all that I'm on this I'm in Iraq six hours is just if I. I think I came off Saturday okay but if you could have seen me use his eyes like how close. Blood for nothing because it's a good cause ya but I bailed I didn't see any panel and a time to shop for anything it was all pointless. All for naught offered knots and I got an edge. Yeah yeah let's operating on don't forget your bad back in the CIA we not checked you in the archives. I wasn't thinking straight out without. You've got a lot. I thought this was before you deep line I think no I had I headed to get through work. Through the stations who was like here's your ticket item on the list anyway I covered up the paper can get it could give him credit Michael Douglas willingly spend like that. Twenty dollars or whatever and lag now now now how about you recruit I really supporting that are yet so I'm Alonso would you most looking forward to move. Shadow hawk eye popping up. Channel is an ocean and it was valley valley attract the shadow channels yeah I mean. Ultra super glad it's over what you're accustomed cause he got out of different reading it I like. A novelty every covered regardless like what was glow in the dark it's not like them. Every lake literally every issue all 41 was like a try cut poster you have to cut it. The sisters that you go home after what was a cut out mask like you can cut out like they really don't Britain there was a major you know. And they were bad quality. I'm saying that time the time. Guardian act on it that's was awful eighties I would like death disagree about it's Marion Barry there I mean. That's neat position paper hats and needs just froze. It was really cool yeah blue and he had shot was cool have one of the villains like diving low cost mixed Spiderman was cool man they all the glossy covers personal matters like small. Grass is just brightly colored. Except. When or if you're writing it yeah like I said he's arguing that it reading it again and again these anonymous Spiderman fit well it's illegal pirates is the reason I'm a Spiderman fan so. And also. We're going to be doing this it's conclusive proof that it's our voice helped. Girl Scouts are way more amusing than the Boy Scouts learned. Even without the cookies in the about the amazing. We're just going oh yeah well right. Well I don't know if you guys out there tonight rag and all got a little badges. The Girl Scouts. I should not have a badge for comic art. Wow Boy Scouts have a generic are detrimental palate with Michael Brooks literature whatever like into an art project. Girl Scouts. Bit about the numbers throughout they've got a little little diamond shape that's got like a word balloons got explosion balloon. I was kicked ass. As I was just having a conversation that way because we haven't done a hundred aren't innocent but maybe I was thinking be a little young how damning is she's certainly girls deputies and how early can UT games that could cause them a lot of places are getting 666. You can click. Anyway I was in her life. Gross out seems so weak compared to bush scouts and I'm not a hundred members when I'm talking. You don't want you learn how to handle that and the other line. Forgive me not knowing I just don't know what they didn't have a clue visual art you know Michelle does your Lou camping is still pretty homeless for the weekend cook and not a valuable skill okay. We feel good. Show. They denied they ever write him that he carries and everything it's okay you go unplugged on that are now there will be getting drugs we take care and not only the Boy Scouts never had any fundraising program that became world famous secret group is unique. That is on that that's what I and then violence and it's like oh it is so much success depends what you should really get a kick starter for that or something. They could sell a beef jerky Indian people I know is that how old car more corners than this yeah. Things we can pretty rapidly. If we are okay. I think is not the Pentagon really slowly. Lamar counters or if I don't like. I can turning downright normal corn Obama and a target of Ottawa and witness it's gonna win nine dollars. If that girls can't keep his side doesn't it and take toy box yeah. Everybody column I implore we heard all the Weight Watchers there is no Girl Scouts whom. Your program and I am degree like ourselves Girl Scout Cookies and I think we just bottle of them yeah it's just grown and Patrick Dennehy but it just you know here's another 53 in a different. Iceland did all right another the video clips of reselling them it was a good dad no I'm just this is about an event. Old out of my pocket I'm like I pull out of my want to put into the girls don't pocket. They're selling Girl Scout Cookies is that like playing a video game when your phone where it's like I'm just gonna put five dollars more and ultimately I know mark you know listen I know who I want to upgrade the RIR political in any five dollars on its three game night. What's behind more dollar. Spread out over time totally right wasn't good marks there yeah and yeah I mean all of girl scout troops are different. Art is like you make a commitment to buy like. You know I think we've got ninety boxes right Ord we haven't much fluid and formed Terry she's the right if if we don't tell me this is not about like its toll that's apt comparison because right become the house and I'm looking all the boxes and I don't. We'll just exports with the starter like it just makes sense right if you're gonna have a good time you need for box so you know we'll take them so volatile mix improvements. It's more receptive to what will take Alice. It's a good. And when the show was about comics. Just got. Kind of got his guys craving for a girl scout okay yeah I quit back selling out. Little fish is going to be running a workshop for Girl Scouts to get there comics. Art badge at comic fast that is apparently a form on line at this annual comic that's website if you go there. You can find it as a girl scout you just registered through that. That's you're you're saying that's me off there that you're at that point. You have so much mean content that like that's that's awesome and got one thing you. That that's such agreements and great program yeah I mean the programming is up in its us you look at it like. I can't decide what I wanna do that it could present you on get a straight ahead about like you know. San Diego comic out is that either so many good things to deal it's a pretty good problem to have because I had a lot of conventions I probably have like. Maybe three conventions a year right eye and free weekends a year I don't I spend at home just because I go to so many columns every single weekend. And I love comments I love scene that and of course a trial on a new gardens and what would bigger problems and a lot of new content Connor is despite. They're still smoothing out the edges and neat like you just go and you walk around and a half stuff to do featureless for an injured Alex. You bring about something duped now. I can say with comic best entering its fifth year now. I mean what it was a comic best the first year's contest were killed over a Little Rock if they I've come in on there there could have been a little morbid. The thirty year feels like Hulk is picked up his pick and this is passed. Last year. We encountered the problem of there were too many good things to do so it finally came became the convention that it needs to be. Worked I was conflict but when I do not to go to this one or two it did go to this one is like going with this thing Disney legend or doing out with just like legendary comic critter so it's. Our heart problems that face but I mean good problem to have because like when your conflict it. It's the conflict you wanna so I'm commentary tickets again. How much are tickets. William tech I don't know whether it's very important area sort Bulgaria for its very affordable we offer one days we offer forty weekend passes and so he can check out on our line. Who spent the better part of a decade working with Walt Disney starting on projects with. Sleeping beauty. Working with Walt all the way up to his final film that he worked on which was jungle book and Floyd has worked on just about every single Disney film. Sense he's still personally like Pixar stuff on like a constant basis and played color come. The only place that yet we don't go to Disneyland right Lou. Al Gore's running might go to Disneyland leaving millions like him. We may reconsider and leave I would absolutely not let's get a Kirby got out of the exact and coming until it's. Or we also have hello underclass that's coming by do we do have lead him sharp who is the head of the comic motion comic company may fire. Which been blown up pretty big after they got investment kills from Kevin Spacey and to rake of all people actually. And of course Leann has also you probably know him as the artists on the wonderland at DC entertainment lately and he's been producing just feet. Absolute best work of his career on that right now his side his work his superb I got sacked. Other artists in just so we have we've got if you're an Asahi a Jumbo offense stints like high will be our guest as well. And if you weren't looking forward to the op. Pop culture side of comics we have rob celta bitch who is now writer for Forbes you know talking about comics and its impact on culture there he will be our special guest as well. Can he really from yes you speaking. When you get exposed to things this huge amount I was aware of the power movement. I was eighteen incher teen credentials for the united and I can and it is your figures are legion of you watching it struggling really. I get if you go and read comics alike and I was actually introduced. But what's and I we can export prominently that's. CL a suffered basic the same for me if you can't ultimately need to introduce you. Yeah I don't know that I know you're becoming Goldman like it was okay for me but all kids need to start in the play to your Superman stuff you're right Chris Claremont comments read right they're all actually what it's Batman beyond yes them. And work your way back. The start that moved them Batman begins writing I don't care contempt if it started to jump in the dark pool. We we we debates all the time to use that's completely realist but like obviously he just had Cain and it's that big of like rule. Do you argue how do you think about how you're gonna expose them to think you're instantly are you gonna wait and see how they feel about stuffing your IE I cannot ready for kingdom comes. I get to eat come on too strong with something you'll tell us a little. Now burn if you're my greatest fear as a father that like I would push my daughter too hard and she'd be like. And owner of the comic ever and I just like a single tear and I think and I remember my TV marine at the end. Exactly but try to push too hard I just let her come to little fish Czech couple library. And now she just made her way through George president Wonder Woman are hoping testing and I was like good and she but I in trades they've only got through volume four. An and I think you left book. And Scioscia liked out. Werth on five if you look at the library they're going live to those. That brings on an even deeper conversation on. Well there's so many threads he did finish. Thank you Donna I don't know again mired in yet eyes to me that she's already having quibble with the flash TV show. I'll well watch out on. Those schools go guys I don't know Seattle really are something of that play don't thought is for quick balls are based on the fact that flash for her. Is. Justice League injustice like a limited cartoons. Also fly less than you it's a Chicago who has some who'd been real dad which is okay that's I grew up with Wally right yeah very like I had to adjust to rally. Yeah. I mean did you marry one yeah you know your your Chinese and then Leah. Well the thing is. Exposure of the whole thing there. Like assuming. A girl ever decides to come in contact with me someday I'm hopeful yeah I'm hoping that my car my trying to Armas comic collection won't act is girl repellent forever. But if I do have offspring like Hubble like you are probable give them like the worst experience of it like okay you're gonna. Or you're gonna start it amazed the American library CAA I have talked to with like. Green goblins with fingernails or stop Melissa and and managed yeah and it like you're gonna you're gonna go and you're gonna get like that man 66. You're getting hit like all the worst stuff CU will never be subjected in the interest in in the stuff like I think. You I think it is Spiderman unlimited let me give the 3-D Spiderman cartoon from 2000 Israel's scenario though you have a daughter. So it worked out it must have out here. Let's get a single father and adopted Brit about respect and I respect him and I think that's. Important lesson is stay away from comic stuff seed don't end up like me. Rather than her body and what's the younger young as age are gonna move. Wish I don't the other young artist classes specifically for kids seven detect so one to week so Thursday afternoon's. And that everything is only do so yeah literally. No way I everyone that together yeah will have like twelve year old in class with forty its. And alerting they're all doing stuff you know and what are the trickiest ages for me right now. And is like fifteenth and seventeenth where you'll stubborn dirt on high school know for you don't have talking about exposure we're like. I've got kids were like oh they need to bite. Be exposed like European countries like they're gonna love like movie that's right they're gonna love. A lot of the stuff. And just knowing that I need to check with their parents first right you know I'd like home. Oh yeah you know like like I didn't know artistically there mature enough and it's somewhere there's like yeah I. Yeah OK yeah I drop they'll follow Wright is this guy as you well not an escalation what did you heading into an alien before our eyes I doubt I don't know you know. And then Nicky and you can have widely different. That's. Expectations from parents for what they want their kids reading and learning of course right and so it's hard to be like some really good but I think. Check the rough. Is it is something you or I'm sure aware that are but that you. How to handle it Linda. Say there's even have a young a young kid and and he just wants drop back into this her version of Batman where they draw the women. We'll let you don't see their knuckles that they aren't naked out there there may have been they absolutely painting either others aren't they yeah it's bad and but let's focus on this whole heartily those artists tend up. They know not always but they tended not be the best storyteller so I can like that's not good storytelling will be put that far away but to think that I don't hear chronically that you had a lot of good in man himself Fred we have to kennel ups package and how do they hate never had a right here. A proper female anatomy it's just like pretty much just like you know and behalf like. For anatomical models B is a Barbie doll might like okay girls this is what you needed striving for the us not just to draw in you know I don't look at your highlight of my life. This is the perfect you get there who could. Well not your class products I think it when they actually did map out. A Barbie doll into real portions who's like eight foot four size G breasts and like to know just size three feet and I assume here like the back wouldn't support it like he wouldn't work. Yeah I think he's thinking about. Retirement. Army in the about it is she was designed as a whole way never designed as an icon. Right hand you don't you don't design coming into this is an icon now and it's gonna be a worldwide product and everyone's gonna. Be effective in their lives and have insecurities based on this golf don't think they create. Don't give a book the Hillary is bar and her Barbie actually named it after her daughter Barbara. And Barbara would just play with these paper dolls and you know the mom decided you know I'm making assuming he she wanted to prove that OK you could have like a dull with breasts. And it won't be a controversial thing he can actually be a little I think he's so much for that. Now the standard you don't it's it's how times change it now that became such a brand where. You know identity is wrapped up and it is just it's what culture does some things but. If he's using it like you think about is the notably is the perfect woman who's just. Says you yeah. Our I have created subjugation guess with. Holding up the Barbie you know behind a fire under my time this resolving the Catholic I took. How big. I. Marty. Hit off. It's. So does sign anything else coming up for little says school NFC so we'd just restarted our. Caused play figure drawing. Session which is open to help we had last Friday we had last week yeah it's pretty awesome there's actually maps idea I mean now we're sitting around talking. Went to your movement. Yep actually two years ago that we need that same night with the tour anniversary of our personal. Now trying to. And but we are sitting around talking and I was like I really wanted to figure drawing little fish but you know as we're talking about. A lot of lot of kids that are a great team it's all layer of permission slips my keynote drawing new models spread between models. I I feel like there's not a lot of use in drug models that are close friend you know it's there's there's some value and you get some but like. But nothing like drawing like the naked human figure like a subsequent had to be moved and all that stuff. And I was like this it's kind of not worth it and Matt goes well we need to have conflicts while Cutler's numbers and he. The dinner and a perfect and you know they're close to make and a lot of times that that you get a good feel of the anatomy exactly and like the cost and so cool yeah it's not like you're like. That's an awesome teacher in school right like we have it right now is sexy dance later he had exactly. We had a funding drops today. Cause player Bernadette Bentley who's is up and away. Promoted she's going to be at Long Beach comic con and a couple weeks vertical and I shared my kids like it is is age because I'm amber and didn't. Bulls Levy's aunt and her like. And she comets like things that lightly and it. But I don't communities all I exact competition Bernadette come down at the end of Friday yeah we do that we awesome I've often. Both rigorous and yes we'll figure out tonight but I mean you can't make everything per share a public figure out. I am so what is called little fish comment studio where you were confronting us FaceBook. But FaceBook is a rare and Twitter from the tweets. And Donald Trump and what he ran for and it was something different term on Twitter and it's CBS color printer Bougainville little fishy yes and then I make this fly anything comic fast. San Diego at best and I 88 RST comic is not a word. It's just becoming a stunt or an award for special. I've been here very social well you as a possible comeback again this year as we always have things gotten younger and usher. What about your desperately looking towards him. I'll point in my looking forward to I'd actually personally I'm super stoked to be interviewing Jim Jones you know you know that's what I what I do when I get to moderate a panel. I moderated a panel there but for other people at comic con two years ago but one of the panelists was built in coach. And I was like. I don't know if I can formulate a question to fill some family I think my customers like I was like Chris Farley in the death now and unlike some bills Kevin. Yeah feels as Carlo with a call I would also. And I think I look to me it was like to statement that I really questioned say yeah actually building originally literally like pulled out of a brush and drums open doorway and just walk through the legs and him having really good tournament you know. So that I'm super stoked about its you know that's. I get to do dirty researcher asking for the questions. And you never get a free weekend yourself what are you personally Hoover's. One of my person looking forward to a San Diego comic past will. I'm gonna say I apple. Number of luckily panels that I will be moderating. Such is the spotlight on Johnson per we will to not be talking about Allen pierce we will be talking about the Spiderman cartoon from the 1990s with my all time favorite cartoon and frankly rock and his work with Miyazaki and George Lucas and Stanley in this cartoon career over the past 35 years. And will be talking with John about you know upcoming projects like his new cartoon dwarfed the rocket man which actually features the cast of the Spiderman cartoon. School and his current run on cyborg. And immediately following that panel I'll be hosting the San Diego comic art gallery panel with the out with the curator and manager of the gallery. TJ shuttling I'll be hosting us about what's upcoming for the San Diego comic art gallery which is the most visible presence of comic art. And you know it's a place right hang out with a lot I can always immersed myself Devoe was gonna new gallery. The Eastman gallery blocked it out there that I don't hard candy is artist in residence so I. Yeah Kevin he's in the democratic candidate and co create an injury eternal certainly. And to all be hosting that once so that Johnson for panels at 10 AM the the moment the comic art galleries and eleven and missiles were a number of kennels I'm going to be moderating on and testing on throughout the weekend but you know. It's it's hard to decide to those of the big ones I'm really happy that I got to moderate those nice you can search Matt comfort on comics and stuff. Coming for stunt or or just check out on FaceBook Esmat effort MET all the panels Buick. 815845915. Effort by the throughout the whole day job and simultaneously yeah. Let's really lap belt situation we don't run that he'd like on two dates right. On the other downed wires situation are god love them how are you always got your exposure to yeah I. In the junior received a classic story strokes and has always turns he does. That was like black classic episode of you know failing Aaron light a fire that. What he's all unite they do that on every show it's like Christmas episode easily it's what were you exploded. In the night. We are so how are you exposed how you remember. How hot it's a different order that this last time we are talking about students and and a little bit about Teleflex which I'm not a subject he's right Tom. So I'd astute and this is about your health go we were doing comics. Biographical comics on them that you just like pop stars or we could find like easy you know information written and. I'm just starting out names and I said Katy Perry's I knew this kid was in communities like coming to cool for school slightly knew it was a good. Vietnam. She threw weird. And recycled paper and I can do Lady Gaga and he goes. Yeah I don't think so agreement. She's too old school. Wow. My copy and we'll locked out because. Yeah Obama needs to listen to her when executed. As to eleven at the time. That note spinning greatly from the yeah. Got a great life. And we yeah. Oh yeah that's old news and the old she's all she's old school this humans and great yeah yeah luckily toilet letter L week eight super. It is not. It's it's a con a contact Anna Ortiz and Lee Angela we can things super hot and it's super we have in his role. Grip webinars about wage here. Today announces you know so easy as that beautiful night but did you on the fast is the release it's really one of the cooler events we have got into its extra.
