Despite inclimate weather, thanks to our wonderful listeners, friends, and fans, FM 949 and Woods were able to collect over 13,770lbs of food for the San Diego Food Bank! On the Border Mexican Grill and Cantina in Mission Valley was the place to be as, despite driving rain, listeners braved the weather to donate in person, and hit the FM 949 Virtual Food Drive to make monetary donations, helping the crew CRUSH our total of 7,500lbs from the 2016 event, and eclipse our 2017 goal of 10,000lbs. We couldn't have done it without all of you, and our friends at On the Border Mission Valley, The San Diego Scale Company, Seaworld, the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, the AMA Monster Energy Supercross Military Appreciation Race (which is this weekend) and UltraStar Mission Valley Cinemas at Hazard Center. We can't thank you all enough, and can't wait to help our friends and neighbors in America's Finest City again in 2018! Cheers to you all!
