Alt 949 welcomes a new addition to the Indie Jam lineup, Flora Cash.

Shpresa Lleshaj and Cole Randall make tunes best classified as atmospheric indie folk and pop music. The couple recently signed with RCA Records and are embarking on a 2018 North American tour in support of their debut album, Nothing Lasts Forever (And It's Fine.)

When asked about whether they thought it was surreal that they met on SoundCloud, Flora Cash duo Cole Randall and Shpresa Lleshaj chimed in “When we talk about it I think we sometimes look at each other and it’s almost embarrassing. It’s like ‘Holy crap, I can’t believe we actually did this.’ The odds are against you in this situation a little bit,” says singer Cole.

Dana asked if they find it hard to shut off from the music and focus on their personal lives. “When you share a passion with the person that you also love the most, there’s really nothing to shut off,” says Cole.

We know they’re both great writers and musicians, but Cole is also apparently a good listener. Shpresa, on the other hand, is an expert cook – especially when she’s drunk. “She can take anything we have in the apartment and combine it, and it’s the best thing you’ve ever ate.”

The album, which was released independently in 2017, features the breakaway single "You're Somebody Else." The song became a Spotify hit with more than 8 million streams, landing Lleshaj and Randall a performance on The Late, Late Show with James Corden.
