Amy Winehouse may no longer be with us, but that won't stop her from going on a worldwide tour next year. The Winehouse estate has teamed with Base Hologram to bring the star back for an encore performance.

The star will be recreated onstage and backed by a live band, Billboard reports.

The Winehouse family and foundation are fully behind the tour. Her father Mitch Winehouse said in a release "this is a dream for us."

The Amy Winehouse Foundation is working with Base Hologram to bring fundraising awareness to the organization through the tour. The Foundation works to prevent the effects of drug and alcohol abuse in young people.

Winehouse was a five-time Grammy Award winning artist who struggled publicly with heroin addiction before her death by overdose in 2011.

Tupak Shakur played via hologram at Coachella and Michael Jackson was brought back via hologram at the Billboard Music Awards.
