Netflix Is Giving You Even More Control

Netflix is making a tweak to your streaming experience, and not everyone is excited about it. Since there is so much more competition these days for your streaming dollar with new services launching from NBC Universal and Disney, it makes sense that a few of the legacy services are adding some bells and whistles. To help regulate their intake capacity for their favorite movies and TV shows, Netflix is tinkering with giving subscribers the ability to speed up or slow down content as the view it. In certain instances, this might sound like a really good way to take total control over your entertainment, but more than a few filmmakers are already up in arms. Is this a feature that would help justify your monthly subscription, or is it just another gimmick that won't move your streaming needle?
