I keep saying that people are driving like they're in GTA lately on the 163...and it turns out I'm not going crazy!

Apparently, citations for speeding over 100 mph have nearly doubled in California over the past month.

From March 19 to April 19, 2020, California Highway Patrol said that 2,493 citations were issued statewide for speeding more than 100 mph. Over the same time period in 2019, there were only 1,335 citations for speeding over 100 mph. That's about 87% more citations.

Be safe out there, San Diego! And if you're one of the people going over 100 mph...SLOW THE HECK DOWN. We all know you ain't got nowhere to be ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
