If you're wishing you were in Vegas right now, mayyyybe think again.

Las Vegas has been completely invaded by grasshoppers and it looks like a scene out of a horror movie.

Believe it or not, this isn't even the first time this has happened.

According to LiveScience, there were so many grasshoppers in Vegas in 1988 that they were two inches deep on the streets.

The swarms of grasshoppers are likely due to the unusually heavy rainfall Vegas has had so far this year.

Las Vegas has already experienced 4.63 inches of rain in 2019, which is actually over the city's annual average of 4.2 inches.

It's gotten SO BAD that these little buggers are literally effectting weather radar?!

But on the upside, they're only expected to stick around Sin City for a few weeks at most. And they're not a threat to humans.

Hey, I guess even grasshoppers need a vacation every now and then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
